So you can quickly know who I am, my name is Jared Hood, and I’m a lecturer at the Presbyterian Theological College, Melbourne. You can see my blurb at http://www.presbyteriancollege.org/staff.html.

Teaching area: Theological Studies
Jared has spent thirteen years in pastoral ministry, and has lectured and studied in various fields. He has a PhD from the University of Melbourne in the Centre for Jewish History and Culture. He serves as Business Convener of the General Assembly. Jared is married to Cassie, who home schools three of their five children. Jared also has oversight of the college library.
What is this Web ‘log’ all about? It’s not much of a blog . I’ve got some papers and thoughts on various subjects that I don’t really have time at the moment to put into final/coherent/sensible form. Maybe one day I’ll get around to tidying some of these things up. In the meantime, I’ll wack them up on this blog. Feel free to let me know if you find anything useful.
If you’re a real sticky beak, have a look at my wife’s blog: http://cassiescuddles.hoodfamily.org.au. My family’s life is apparently an open book!
PS: the page headers on this site are photos taken by my wife and me. The one on this page is of son Camden and me at Captain Cook’s Cottage. The waves photo on the main page was taken somewhere along the Great Ocean Road.

Jared
Let me be the first to congratulate you on spending the time to teach and direct others.
I will need more time to read your thoughts on 2 Corinthians in the near future.
The first step is the start.
Regards
Trev

Jared, I’ve found your blogs most interesting. Especially the stats. regarding home visits Vs bus stop. But I confess to skipping through your IT savvy blogs. I hope that you will bless many with your teachings.
Regards
Sandrine
