This is a paper I wrote in 2006 for the Master of Arts in Theology course I am doing. It looks at the meaning of the name Yahweh in Exodus, in Exodus 3:12-15 and Exodus 6:2-5 and across the whole book, and suggests an outline for the whole book (two halves, Exodus 1-18 and 19-40, each with ten subsections). It can readily be adapted to show the literary and theological unity of the book of Exodus. Hope someone finds it useful.
